Artist's Comments

In the future children shall be educated by robot mentors whilst their parents are busy working in the sprawling cities.

I wanted to try something a little different from my usual darker type of work. So this one has more a childrens book illustration feel as I felt it would suit the subject matter.
I also wanted to experiment with my painting by limiting myself to one brush -oil heavy flow dry edges with pressure sensitivity on and for the most part, shape dynamics off.
Finally I added a hand made watercolour wash as an overlay layer at 73% to give some texture.
Sofware- Photoshop 7.

Though still there is your dark style coming through - the robot looks as if it could easily go beserk and hurt people. ;)
